A themed study emerging from my wanderings around Nottingham; this time a focus on the time-frozen and peaceful liminal space, the laundrette.

I'm often surprised how these oases are often empty; perhaps rightly seen as dated. But that is to overlook their promise of respite, chance encounter, enforced pause, and ample seating in a warm, ambient environment; perhaps if we're lucky, a coffee machine...
